We appreciate your interest in our motorcycle parts and workshop services. To ensure that your order is processed smoothly and efficiently, please note the following information:

We only accept orders for new parts, used parts or wear parts by telephone or email. Please provide the following information with every order: Collection or delivery Vehicle make, model and year Required part (with item number, if known) New part / used part / wear part (desired condition and application) Your contact details (name, telephone number, address if applicable) No contact is necessary for orders placed via the online shop. When you go through the ordering process, this information will be requested automatically via the relevant platform.

Payment is made upon collection in cash, via Twint or by card. Shipping is only possible by arrangement and against advance payment.

Shipping costs are calculated separately depending on size, weight and shipping method and will be communicated before shipping. Shipping is usually carried out by PostPac Economy or Priority (Swiss Post), or alternatively by courier service by arrangement. After receipt of payment, shipping will take place within: 1–3 working days for parts in stock For parts that are not in stock and have to be specially procured or are rare used parts, the delivery time may vary – we will inform you individually in this case. Please check the delivery immediately for completeness and damage. Complaints must be reported within 3 days. Delivery abroad is possible at an additional cost. The goods remain our property until full payment has been received.

Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Alberti’s Classic Motorcycles – Werkfunke workshop and its customers for all services, repairs, restorations, and modifications of motorcycles as well as for the sale of spare parts and accessories.

Conclusion of Contract

A contract is concluded through written or verbal acceptance of an estimate or by delivering a vehicle for repair or maintenance. Additions and changes are only valid if confirmed in writing by both parties.

Scope of Services

The workshop undertakes to perform the commissioned work professionally according to recognized technical standards. The exact scope of services is defined by the issued order.

Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) and include statutory value added tax, unless otherwise stated. Payments are generally due upon collection of the vehicle, unless otherwise agreed. In the event of late payment, the workshop is entitled to charge interest on arrears at a rate of 5% p.a. as well as reminder fees. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 10 days net. Additional or reduced costs of 15% according to the cost estimate or agreement will be carried out without consultation; further cost changes will be agreed upon immediately.

Estimates

Estimates are non-binding unless expressly stated as binding in writing. If additional defects are found during the repair, the customer will be informed and their consent obtained to continue.

Acceptance and Handover

The customer undertakes to collect the vehicle within five working days of being notified that it is ready. If the vehicle is not collected, the workshop may charge demurrage fees. Upon handover of the vehicle, the service provided shall be deemed to have been accepted, unless an immediate written complaint is made.

Warranty and Liability

The workshop is liable for the professional execution of the work under the statutory warranty obligations (Art. 367 ff. Swiss Code of Obligations). The warranty expires if the customer or third parties make changes without the workshop’s consent. No liability is assumed for damage caused by improper use, natural wear, or force majeure. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Spare Parts and Old Parts

Installed parts become the property of the customer. Old parts are disposed of unless the customer expressly requests their return.

Retention of Title

Installed parts and accessories remain the property of the workshop until full payment is made.

Right of Retention

The workshop is entitled to retain the vehicle until full payment of the services provided (contractor’s lien).

Data Protection

Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and will not be passed on to third parties unless there is a legal obligation to do so. Further information can be found under: Privacy Policy.

Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

Swiss law applies to all disputes, excluding international agreements. The place of jurisdiction is the Regional Court of Berner Jura-Seeland, unless mandatory legal provisions stipulate otherwise.

Severability Clause

Should any provision of these GTC be invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. A replacement provision that closely aligns with the economic purpose of the original clause will apply.

Return of Waste Oil

Waste oil is hazardous waste and must not be disposed of with household waste, poured down the drain or released into the environment. Please take your waste oil to an official collection point or return it to an approved collection centre. When you purchase engine oil from us, you have the right to return the same amount of waste oil to our point of sale free of charge. Please keep your proof of purchase as evidence and return the waste oil in suitable, sealed containers. The environmentally friendly disposal of waste oil helps to protect the soil, water and air.
